ITX
Plus Series
Universal, Loop Powered, Isolated, Signal
Converters
The ITXPlus is a truly universal, compact, loop
powered, isolated, signal converter. You can program
it to suit most input signals. It will measure,
convert, filter, and isolate the signal and provide
you with an industry standard 4-20mA output.
For temperature measurement, you can use any
thermocouple or RTD type. There is lead length
compensation for 3-wire and 4-wire RTD and
resistance measurements as well as a highly
responsive automatic cold junction compensation
method for thermocouples. The ITXPlus will also
accept resistance, potentiometer (position),
millivolt, milliamp or voltage signals. You don’t
even need to recalibrate.
The program has inbuilt square root,
linear, x1.5 and x2.5 transfer functions or you can
set up a table of input/output values to
characterize any unusual curve.
|
Features:
- Universal Input
- Converts, filters and isolates most
common signals and sensor types
- Fully isolated
- Loop powered
- Automatic CJC for thermocouple inputs
- Automatic lead length compensation for RTD
inputs
- Sensor burnout detection
- Preset and user-defined linearization

STG
Auxiliary Powered, Strain Gauge Converter
The STG converts the signal generated by a
resistance bridge strain gauge to a standard
analogue signal format. It has a remote sensing,
bridge power supply that provides a highly stable
bridge excitation voltage regardless of any cabling
resistances between bridge and the input terminals.
TARE adjustment controls and test points allow for
easy adjustment to suit initial bridge loading. The
housings clip directly onto both 35mm ‘Top Hat’ rail
and G-rail without modification.
|
Features:
- Remote sensing bridge power supply provides highly stable excitation voltage
- True voltage/high drive capability, analog outputs
- Highly accurate (0.1% of span)
- Removable, screw type, terminal blocks
- Front panel test points
- Easy to use
- DIN and G rail mounted

Micromann AR Series
Universal, Auxilary Powered, Isolated, Signal Conditioners with Alarms
Micromann AR series transmitters and alarms provide
you with a truly flexible, multifunction interface
between industrial plant and control room equipment.
Designed for signal isolation/conversion they also
have dual SPST (NO) relay alarm outputs for process
monitoring applications.
Each model covers a range of similar signal and
sensor types. Versions available include: analogue
current/voltage; temperature (thermocouple and RTD);
frequency; conductivity; curve lineariser/characteriser;
maths function; etc.
In common with all Micromann series
units they have a four digit display, which you can
scale to read in any engineering unit. All
parameters then work off the displayed value. The
user friendly software makes setting up operating
parameters very easy: simply choose the settings you
need using the display and the tactile keypad.
|
Features:
-
Programmable
current/voltage output
-
Two versatile alarm
channels with LED status indication
-
Display in engineering
units
-
Complete isolation
-
Easy to use
-
Change configuration
without need to recalibrate
-
No internal adjustments

The housing clips onto both DIN and G rail. Wiring
connections are by plug-in connectors on the front
of the instrument.
The Micromann Series is cULus Listed, CE Approved
and complies with the RoHS directive for hazardous
materials reduction.
Micromann UPI Series
Analog to Frequency Converters
Micromann UPI series units accept analogue
current/voltage signals and convert to a
proportional output frequency with inbuilt
linearization for square law signals and
programmable low cutout to prevent accumulated
errors at low frequencies.
A power supply connection is provided for a loop
powered transmitter or other active input device.
They also have a single alarm channel for basic
signal level monitoring applications. In common with
all Micromann units they have a four digit/character
display, which you can scale to read in any
engineering unit. All parameters then work off the
displayed value.
The user friendly software makes setting up
operating parameters very easy: simply choose the
settings you need using the display and the tactile
keypad.
|
Features:
- Convert current/voltage
signals to proportional frequency output
- Power for active input devices
- Low cut-out and linearisation for square law
signals
- Single alarm channel with LED status
indication
- Display in engineering units
- Complete isolation
